Will you get paid?

Pays, but holds funds

This is the big one to understand. Whop is legitimate and pays most people, but its own documentation describes a "Dispute Risk Score" system that can hold 100% of your earnings for 90 days, and suspended-account funds can be redirected to refund buyers. Real Trustpilot and Reddit reports describe earnings frozen for 90 days then the account banned on release. You will probably get paid, but Whop holds more of your money for longer than anyone else, and the ban-before-payout reports are real.

Best for

Clippers who want the biggest pool of campaigns and a huge community

Pros

  • +Constant new campaigns
  • +Real iOS and Android apps for the marketplace
  • +Legitimate and pays

Cons

  • Funds can be held in long reserves
  • Reports of bans near payout

Our take

The largest clipping community by far, with a 4.8-star iOS app and 4.7-star Android app for the wider Whop marketplace. Trustpilot sits around 3.7 from thousands of reviews. It is legitimate and pays, but the real complaints are worth knowing: funds held in 90 to 180-day reserves under compliance review, and reports of accounts banned near payout thresholds. Around $1.7M paid and 98,000 creators as of mid-2025 (self-reported).
